About FCM

The Foundation FCM is a non-profit organization regularly recognized by the Italian government. It was founded as an Association in 2008, and it has been transformed into a Foundation in 2013. FCM aims at supporting the projects and works of the Comboni Missionary Sisters in their missions in 34 countries around the world and on 4 continents. The Foundation is truly inspired by the spirit of San Daniele Comboni.

For us, solidarity means helping to create the conditions for people themselves to be able to plan and build their own future, by naming what creates conditions of poverty in their own country.

Where we are

For 150 years we have been living and working alongside people, in dialogue with peoples in respect of local history and culture, fostering the acquisition of skills and abilities in order to create conditions that allow them to support their lives and those of their loved ones. We believe in the potential of people and we strive to ensure that everyone has a fair opportunity for a decent life both in Africa and in the rest of the world, with particular attention to women, children and refugees and the most vulnerable.

Our Focus Areas

These are the areas in which we work:
