Project Location

Amakuriat is semi-ared area and the harshness of the weather causes frequent food insecurity. The main activity of the people is farming. The unemployement and the high level of poverty make the women come to the mission to look for work and food for their families.

Project description

This project is innovation to address the problem of unemployment of the women and the high level of poverty.

The project aims at giving the opportunity to the women to create their own job of beading in order to change the narrative of their life, their family and of the community at large.

The project will provide the women with the capacity to address the challenges they are facing in terms of poverty, unemployement and lack of financial capacity to support their families.

  • To reduce the extreme poverty in families
  • To create job opportunity for the women
  • To reduce the dependency tendencies
