RCA 15 – SUPPORT FOR STUDENTS IN BANGUI
Project Location
This project is taking place in the Central African Republic, one of the poorest countries in the world and which still has to depend heavily on foreign countries. And it is here that for some years, we have been following a group of girls by providing them with economic support to be able to continue their university or high school studies and thus be able to obtain the qualification that allows them to acquire important positions and roles in society and then influence it in a positive way.
Unfortunately, in Central Africa, illiteracy is very high, 49% of the total population. And to be able to help these girls is a source of joy for us because we know well that their families could never bear such expenses, especially for a girl. And so our commitment alongside them wants to continue taking them to heart and helping them with this project.
Project description
With this project we want to guarantee 10 high school girls and 3 university students, the necessary scholastic help that can help them continue their studies, but also to overcome some gaps in certain subjects such as French, mathematics, English, in order to promote a harmonious growth of their person.
Some of these girls without help from people of good will could never continue their studies and achieve their goals. So here is our decision to help 13 families; For 10 girls we will pay the high school fee, the school uniform and the necessary for sports and school supplies. We also agree to support 3 girls who attend university and it is part of our wishes that they can complete it. We will also pay for them the school fees and school supplies they need. There will be support courses (French, math and English) for the girls attending high school.
In the expenses there is the item for the fuel that is necessary because the sister in charge will have to reach the various schools to attend meetings and to closely follow the school progress of the girls.
